About Karryn Cartoulis

I grew up In Umhlanga Rocks, Natal when it was still a real little fishing village. After leaving school, I travelled extensively, lived in London for a year and San Francisco for just over 5 years but when I met my husband in 1996 in Cape Town I knew that this would be “home”. Every new day is a blessing for me and I have immense gratitude to live in the most beautiful city ever created!

After 10 years in the clothing industry, I stumbled on my passion, real estate. My Mother has been an estate agent for 38 years now and my father has been in the industry for 22 years. It was simply in my blood. My mother and I joined forces in 2007, together we work by the philosophy that whatever you do in life, you have only your reputation to fall back on so always act with integrity.

I have been blessed with two beautiful little girls of 9 and 15 years old and I am fortunate that we are able to educate them at St Cyprians school. I am a very “hands on” mom but have found the best balance between my work and my family and so far, as challenging as it often gets, I feel that I am being successful with these very important aspects of my life.

With the knowledge of the City Bowl, my love of the city and my passion for my work – finding the perfect match for my clients comes so naturally and seeing the expression on their faces when (after weeks, months or years of working with them and building a long standing friendship) they get “that feeling” that they have found their perfect property... this is the most rewarding and priceless experience for me!

I always go that extra mile to make the journey of the property search and the settling in to their home, an enjoyable and stress free one. For me, the easiest part is the sale... it is all the extra “frills” that matter after the harmonious and happy deal has been successfully concluded, that truly sets me apart from my competition

I don’t only sell real estate, I build trust and friendships with my clients for years to come, I don’t only find people a house, I find them a home.

Real estate will always be more than just a title to me. It is about building up dreams for our clients and making them a reality.
